Juraj

Juraj Gazda

Juraj Gazda defended his dissertation thesis Multicarrier based transmission systems undergoing nonlinear amplification in 2010. In the time frame 2011-2014, besides his education and research activities at Technical University of Kosice, he was also with the Nokia Networks (former Nokia Siemens Networks) working as the external consultant dealing with the IMS based LTE wireless communication systems. In the past, he acted as the guest researcher at the Ramon Llull University (Barcelona, Spain), Technical University of Hamburg, Harburg (Germany) and Delft University of Technology (Netherlands). In 2013, he visited Verizon Wireless (Dallas, TX, USA) to consult the design of IMS based LTE network for Verizon Wireless.

Peter

Peter Drotár

Peter Drotár received M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electronics from Technical University of Kosice, Slovakia in 2007 and 2010, respectively. From 2010 to 2012, he was with Honeywell International, Advanced Technology Europe as Scientist for Communication and Surveillance systems. From 2012 to 2015, he was with SIX research centre, Brno University of Technology as postdoctoral research assistant. He acted as a visiting researcher at University of Southern California, LA, USA, Ramon Llull University in Barcelona, ESP and Hamburg University of Technology, Hamburg-Harburg, GER. Currently, he is Associate Professor at the Department of Computers and Informatics, Technical University of Kosice.

Gabriel

Gabriel Bugár

Gabriel Bugár received M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electronics from Technical University of Kosice, Slovakia in 2007 and 2010, respectively. Currently, he is Research Assistant at the Department of Electronics and Multimedia Telecommunications, Technical University of Kosice.

Marcel

Marcel Vološin

received his BSc. and MSc. degrees in Informatic from Technical University of Kosice, Slovakia, Department of Computers and Informatics, in 2016 and 2018, respectively. Currently a assistant professor of Informatics at the same department. His research interests include agent-based modeling of real-time spectrum trading schemes and wireless networks in conjunction with mobility models in the simulated city environment.

Peter Gnip

Peter Gnip received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Informatics from the Technical University of Kosice, Slovakia, in 2018 and 2021, respectively. Actually, he is an assistant professor at the Department of Computers and Informatics, Technical University of Kosice. His research focuses on applying machine learning approaches to strongly imbalanced data.

Eugen

Eugen Šlapak

Eugen Šlapak received his BSc. and MSc degrees in Informatics from the Technical University of Košice, Košice, Slovakia, in 2016 and 2018, respectively. His master’s thesis focused on the use of self-organizing maps for HetNet topology design, under the supervision of assoc. prof. Juraj Gazda. Since 2017 he works with the research team at the Intelligent Information Systems Laboratory, Technical University of Košice. His research focuses on applications of machine learning approaches to cellular wireless networks modeled as multi-agent systems.

Matúš

Matúš Dopiriak

Matúš Dopiriak received his BSc. and MSc. degrees in Informatics from the Technical University of Kosice, Slovakia, Department of Computers and Informatics, in 2020 and 2022, respectively. His diploma thesis focused on using CNN-based object detection architectures to monitor traffic from the perspective of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). He is currently a PhD candidate at the Technical University of Kosice's Department of Computers and Informatics, working under the supervision of prof. Ing. Juraj Gazda, PhD. His current research is engaged in the integration of neural architectures, particularly Neural Radiance Fields (NeRFs) in the field of robotics and autonomous mobility of vehicles in custody to edge computing.

Matej Gazda received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Modelling from Technical University of Kosice, Slovakia, in 2017 and 2019 respectively. Máté Hireš received the M.Sc. degree in computer science from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Technical University of Kosice, Kosice, Slovakia, in 2019. Marek Ružička

Marek Ružička is a PhD student at the Department of Computers and Informatics, Technical University of Kosice, under the supervision of prof. Ing. Juraj Gazda, PhD. His research focuses on implementation of deep learning in 5G dynamic RAN network. He is searching improvement techniques for more efficient algoritms in placing UAV-mounted base stations as well as energy efficiency. In 2021, he participated an intership at Czech technical University in Prague, in 6G mobile research lab.

David Jozef Hreško

Dávid Jozef Hreško is a PhD student at the Department of Computers and Informatics, Technical University of Košice, under the supervision of prof. Ing. Peter Drotar, PhD. His research focuses on implementation of self-supervised deep learning methods in the area of medical imaging. Additionally, he is also searching for improvements of applications of GANs in various areas. During his study he won several international coding competitions.

Robert Rauch

Róbert Rauch received his BSc. And MSc. Degrees in Informatics from Technical University of Košice, Slovakia in 2019 and 2021, respectively.
