Dávid Jozef Hreško is a PhD student at the Department of Computers and Informatics, Technical University of Košice, under Prof. Ing. Peter Drotar, PhD. His research focuses on implementing self-supervised deep-learning methods in medical imaging. He is also searching for improvements in GAN applications in various areas. During his study, he won several international coding competitions.

Dávid Jozef Hreško

Eugen Šlapak received his BSc. and MSc degrees in Informatics from the Technical University of Košice, Košice, Slovakia, in 2016 and 2018, respectively. His master’s thesis focused on using self-organizing maps for HetNet topology design under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Juraj Gazda. Since 2017, he has worked with the Intelligent Information Systems Laboratory research team at the Technical University of Košice. His research focuses on applications of machine learning approaches to cellular wireless networks modeled as multi-agent systems.

Eugen Šlapak

Gabriel Bugár received an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in electronics from the Technical University of Kosice, Slovakia, in 2007 and 2010, respectively. He is a Research Assistant at the Department of Electronics and Multimedia Telecommunications, Technical University of Košice.

Gabriel Bugár

Juraj Gazda defended his dissertation thesis Multicarrier based transmission systems undergoing nonlinear amplification in 2010. In the time frame 2011-2014, besides his education and research activities at Technical University of Kosice, he was also with the Nokia Networks (former Nokia Siemens Networks) working as the external consultant dealing with the IMS based LTE wireless communication systems. In the past, he acted as the guest researcher at the Ramon Llull University (Barcelona, Spain), Technical University of Hamburg, Harburg (Germany) and Delft University of Technology (Netherlands). In 2013, he visited Verizon Wireless (Dallas, TX, USA) to consult the design of IMS based LTE network for Verizon Wireless.

Juraj Gazda

Marcel Vološin received his BSc and MSc in Informatics from the Technical University of Kosice, Slovakia, Department of Computers and Informatics, in 2016 and 2018, respectively. He is currently an assistant professor of Informatics at the same department. His research interests include agent-based modeling of real-time spectrum trading schemes and wireless networks in conjunction with mobility models in the simulated city environment.

Marcel Vološin

Dr. Marek Ružička is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computers and Informatics at the Technical University of Košice. He completed his doctoral studies under the mentorship of Professor Ing. Juraj Gazda, PhD., focusing on the application of machine learning principles within dynamic Radio Access Network (RAN) operators' networks. Marek Ružička's research primarily concentrates on implementing deep learning technologies in 5G dynamic RAN networks. He is actively developing advanced techniques to enhance the efficiency of algorithms for positioning UAV-mounted base stations, with a particular emphasis on energy efficiency. In 2021, he enriched his expertise through an internship at the Czech Technical University in Prague, where he contributed to the 6G mobile research laboratory.

His current research endeavors include exploring Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs) for practical applications. The insights gained from this research have been instrumental in developing the online AI-powered simulator siml.ai.

Marek Ružička

Matej Gazda received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Modelling from Technical University of Kosice, Slovakia, in 2017 and 2019 respectively. Currently, he is a PhD student in informatics at the Department of Computers and Informatics, Technical University of Kosice. He focuses on applications of AI in medical imaging in various disciplines, such as segmentation, localisation and diagnostics.

Matej Gazda

Matúš Dopiriak is a Doctoral Candidate at the Department of Computers and Informatics at the Technical University in Košice, conducting research under Professor Ing. Juraj Gazda, PhD. His research primarily focuses on the exploration and integration of neural architectures, with a specific emphasis on radiance fields, in robotics and vehicle autonomous mobility, particularly concerning edge computing.

Matúš Dopiriak

Miroslav Imrich, a Doctoral Candidate at the Department of Computers and Informatics at the Technical University of Košice under the supervision of 

, is conducting research in the areas of radiance fields, edge computing, and autonomous mobility. His master's thesis, titled 

"Distributed Neural Radiance Fields in the Autonomous Vehicles' Metaverse for Reducing Data Throughput"

, laid the foundation for his current doctoral research, where he aims to further investigate and expand upon this domain.

Miroslav Imrich

Máté Hireš is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computers and Informatics at the Technical University of Košice. He received Ph.D. degree in computer science from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Technical University of Kosice, focusing on diagnosis of Parkinson's disease from voice using deep learning techniques. His research interests include neural networks and deep learning, biomedical signal analysis and biomedical decision support systems. 

Máté Hireš

Peter Bugata received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in informatics from Technical University of Kosice, Slovakia, in 2016 and 2018, respectively. Currently, he is a PhD student in informatics at the Department of Computers and Informatics, Technical University of Kosice.

He acted as a visiting researcher at University of Southern California, LA, USA, Ramon Llull University in Barcelona, ESP and Hamburg University of Technology, Hamburg-Harburg, GER. Currently, he is Associate Professor at the Department of Computers and Informatics, Technical University of Kosice.

Róbert Kanász

Róbert Rauch received his BSc. And MSc. Degrees in Informatics from Technical University of Košice, Slovakia in 2019 and 2021, respectively. He is currently pursuing his PhD at the Department of Computers and Informatics, Technical University of Košice under the supervision of prof. Ing. Juraj Gazda, PhD. His research interest is acceleration of computer vision tasks for autonomous vehicles in vehicular edge computing via split computing and early exiting.
