IISLab recently hosted renowned AI scientist Michal Valko, known as the "Slovak Einstein."
Michal is a globally recognized scientist whose work bridges advanced machine learning, reinforcement learning, and the foundations of artificial intelligence. He has held leading research positions at Inria (France), worked with DeepMind, and contributed to top-tier international projects shaping the future of AI.
During his visit, we discussed large language models (LLMs), the intrinsic details of reinforcement learning, and opportunities for future collaboration. Having such an influential mind with us was both inspiring and motivating, and it opens exciting perspectives for our research and innovation activities.
