Renáta Rusnáková is a PhD student at the Technical University of Košice (since 2024), specializing in Quantum Computing with applications in Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence. Her current research involves exploring the use of Quantum Annealing to solve optimization problems in urban traffic. She holds a Master's Degree in Mathematical Methods of Informational Security from Charles University in Prague (2007–2012), where her thesis focused on NP search problems and reductions among them.

She is currently working also as a Software Analyst at the Department of DevOps IS at the Technical University of Košice (since 2024). Prior to her academic pursuits, she built an extensive career spanning over 12 years in the financial and telecommunications industries. She served as a Senior Application Developer at Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia (2023–2024), where she focused on the development of ETL processes on the Microsoft Azure platform, building data Lakehouses using Azure Databricks, and preparing CI/CD deployment pipelines. Her earlier roles include Senior System Developer at DTSE-SK (2019–2023), Reporting Analyst/Developer at VÚB banka (2017–2018), and Review Specialist at Raiffeisenbank CZ (2012–2015).
