Metamobility represents a new evolution in autonomous transport, leveraging advanced imaging techniques, artificial intelligence (AI), and the robust computational and communication capabilities of 6G network infrastructure. It has the potential to significantly enhance the passenger experience through augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), while also improving the safety of autonomous transport.
This analysis will explore the ongoing impact of the Metaverse, the digital twin of autonomous transport, edge computing, and 6G networks on both the safety and energy efficiency of autonomous vehicles. In particular, we will consider the role of vehicle batteries and task processing, distributed across the edge and the digital twin.
Advanced AI methods are expected to enable effective orchestration of all interacting entities within Metamobility, optimizing the use of communication and computing resources. Additionally, AI can facilitate the real-time creation of realistic scenes in the Metaverse, enriching the passenger experience within connected autonomous vehicles.
